This dataset includes online carbon monoxide observation data from the atmospheric background station in Lin'an, Zhejiang, China from July 16 to December 31, 2005. It can represent the carbon monoxide background situation in the Yangtze River Delta region of China during the same period. The dataset has undergone strict quality control, and statistical variables include daily average, median, standard deviation, number of samples, daily maximum, and daily minimum values of carbon monoxide
