Urad Desert Grassland Research station (hereinafter referred to as Urad Station) is located in Chaogewendur Town (Saiwusu Town), Urad Rear Banner, Bayannur, Inner Mongolia, 106 ° 58 ′ east longitude, 41 ° 25 ′ north latitude, 1720 m above sea level, with an office area of 15 mu, a pilot area of 5000 mu, and 40 km away from the government of Urad Rear Banner. Ulat Station was established in 2011 and officially unveiled in 2013; Joined the Global Drought Research Network (Drought Net) in 2015, and was officially included in the Northwest Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) level station network with the approval of the Northwest Research Institute Board in February 2017; In July 2018, joined the Global Nutrient Network; In June 2019, joined the "Research on Global Grassland Ecosystem Disturbance and Resource Networking".
